Mathias Leiner holds a degree in business administration and brings 15 years of management experience in transport and logistics services. He has been at home in the world of rail freight transport, especially combined transport, since the beginning. Mathias Leiner: "I have known ERS for many years as a dynamic company with professional employees and a strong customer structure. Through the integration of ERS into the Hupac Group and the resulting synergies, I see great potential for the company's further development."
Mathias Leiner is taking over business development and operations. He is looking forward to the new tasks: "More intermodal transport for a more climate-friendly world – together we can further develop the system and contribute to the growth of our industry with ever more efficient solutions."
European Rail Shuttle BV was founded in 1994 at the beginning of the liberalization of the rail freight market as a joint venture between the companies Maersk, Sealand Service, P&O Containers, Nedlloyd, and NS Cargo. The offer focused on container transport between Rotterdam and destinations along the Rhine in Germany and the Melzo terminal in Italy.
