The first two trains will operate on line U1 between Děčín and Kadaň.

RegioJet will introduce new Škoda electric multiple units on regional services in Czechia’s Ústí Region from the beginning of July 2026.

The local authority, Doprava Ústeckého kraje (DÚK), will present the new EMUs on 12 June 2026 through free public rides from Ústí nad Labem to Teplice, Litoměřice and Děčín. The trains carry the green DÚK livery on the exterior and in the passenger interior.

The vehicles are part of RegioJet’s contract for the “Elektrická páteř” group of regional lines. Ústí Region plans to have 23 new Škoda Group EMUs in service by the end of 2026.

The units include low-floor boarding, passenger information systems, WiFi, power sockets, USB-A and USB-C charging points, a first-class section, a quiet area in second class, tables and space for bicycles, prams and passengers with reduced mobility.

Three-car units provide up to 228 seats and space for 14 bicycles. Two-car units provide 142 seats and space for eight bicycles. Each train will also carry a defibrillator.
