CLIP Intermodal has introduced a new intermodal connection between its terminal in Swarzędz, Poland, and the Can Tunis terminal in Barcelona, Spain. The service operates twice a week, with departures from Swarzędz on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and from Barcelona on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
The Can Tunis terminal in Barcelona serves as an important logistics hub in European intermodal transport. It is the first terminal in Spain to support rail motorway services, accommodating P400 trailers and containers. This initiative is expected to reduce truck traffic on roads, offering alternative transport options for companies and potentially benefiting the environment.
